Adventures at Sea

Adventures at Sea offer an eclectic range of courses that reflect the needs of sailors from Duke of Edinburgh participants taking their Gold Residential to the modern 'time-poor' yachtsman and those chartering in the Mediteranean.

Duke of Edinburgh Award Gold Residential

A five day course from Sunday evening to Friday afternoon. Participants sail the full extent of the beautiful Solent staying aboard overnight. A lovely way to achieve Gold Residential. Described by one participant as "eat, sleep, sail, repeat..."

Milebuilding Club

A wonderful opportunity to sail with a regular group to build experience and miles. Based on the Hamble we sail the Solent and surrounding waters.

Boat Handling/pre-flotilla brush-up

Everyone gets rusty - this is a chance to polish up your boat handling and sailing skills when it suits you at a realistic cost. Solent based

Small Craft Diesel Engine Course

We are the only school in the country to run this course with a live engine in a bespoke training workshop. Real hands-on training: you get to change fuel filters, bleed the system, change raw water pump impellers and more on a real live engine. This one day course takes place at our training centre near Lewes in Sussex, see the Contact page for travel options..
